Job Summary


Delta Apparel is seeking a Sales Operations Coordinator to join its growing team at the Concord, NC office.

Essential Job Functions
  • Serve as lead sales operations representative for key retail accounts
  • Manage all item data, item set-up and retailer website management to include item management/all dimension variations, populate copy/features from sell sheets, insert/format images, and all other forms and requirements requested by the retailers
  • Process key retail account orders inclusive of order entry, EDI, and dropping orders to DC for shipment
  • Prepare, publish and manage daily order file with fill rates, order status, backorders, status of inbound product, etc.
  • Compile sales reports and POS data
  • Oversee and lead internal relationship between key retail accounts and Delta Apparel
  • Act as conduit between sales, development, distribution, planning groups, etc.
  • Analyze and process chargebacks
  • Daily customer communication and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to verify/disseminate information on buy plans/forecasts
  • Work on special projects/initiatives to help improve overall business performance, while partnering with cross-functional teams
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, customer success management, account management, product management or program management.
  • 1 or more years of experience managing projects and/or programs
  • Experience with retailer POS data systems and DataSync preferred
  • High level of interpersonal skills and professionalism
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analysis skills with excellent business judgment
  • Be an excellent communicator, agile, and creative problem solver
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
